Uthishta dispatched emergency relief teams to distribute essential items such as food, clean drinking water, clothing, and blankets to flood-affected families. This immediate assistance aimed to provide comfort and sustenance to those who had lost their homes and belongings.
Hygiene kits containing soap, disinfectants, and sanitary supplies were also provided to help prevent the outbreak of diseases in the flooded areas. Ensuring access to basic hygiene was crucial in maintaining the health and well-being of the community during this crisis.

A Legacy of Support

Uthishta has been at the forefront of providing crucial support during multiple disasters, including the 2018 Kerala floods, the Chennai floods, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Wayanad landslides.

Wayanad, a picturesque district in Kerala, has faced devastating landslides in recent years due to heavy monsoon rains.

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic presented unprecedented challenges globally, affecting healthcare systems, economies, and daily life.

Uthishta actively participated in relief efforts during the devastating 2018 Kerala floods.

In December 2015, Chennai faced one of the most devastating floods in its history due to unprecedented heavy rainfall.

Our Inspiration

Swami Vivekananda

"In this world always take the position of the giver. Give everything and look for no returns. Give love, give help, give service, give any little thing you can, but keep out barter. Make no conditions and none will be imposed. Let us give out of our own bounty, just as God gives to us.”
