Cultural & Tradition

The gorgeous cultural heritage of India has a history of thousands of years; she is very rich in her traditions of fine arts, and scientifically defined classical and folk music and dance systems. While there is a need to support the preservation of the variegated art forms which are integral and intrinsic to the Indian culture, the awareness and appreciation of the sublime art forms will ensure the continuance of the role they played in shaping the character of our very society in a positive direction. In view of such goals, Uthishta organizes cultural evenings involving performance by exponents in the respective art forms.

The wisdom of the ancient sages and rishis is among the best of India’s contributions to the world, which has endured the tests of time against all odds known to the recorded history. There is also a humble effort on the part of Uthishta to maintain the awareness of that wisdom in the present and immediate generations so that they can take it forward as appropriate. Towards that goal, Uthishta organizes regular speeches and discourses by scholars from the relevant fields who could provide the audience with a good feel for the scriptural wisdom of India and the depth of her culture.

True to our tradition and continuous endeavour to support cultural programmes and performing arts, we are organizing a cultural extravaganza ' The Uthishta Utsav 2024' on 17th of February 2024

Our Inspiration

Swami Vivekananda

"In this world always take the position of the giver. Give everything and look for no returns. Give love, give help, give service, give any little thing you can, but keep out barter. Make no conditions and none will be imposed. Let us give out of our own bounty, just as God gives to us.”
