Supporting 150 Children with Type 1 Diabetes Through the Free Insulin Bank

Uthishta is supporting 150 children living with Type 1 Diabetes through the Free Insulin Bank at the Karnataka Institute of Endocrinology and Research (KIER), Bengaluru.

The initiative provides essential diabetes-care supplies, including insulin, blood glucose testing strips and needles, free of cost. This support helps children from financially disadvantaged families receive uninterrupted treatment and manage their condition safely.

Regular access to insulin and monitoring supplies is vital for children with Type 1 Diabetes. Through this initiative, Uthishta aims to reduce the financial burden on families and help every beneficiary lead a healthier and more confident life.
