There was a time when Kathakali was performed only at temples . The performance then lasted for the whole night and continued till dawn. But times have changed and inevitably the culture of night long experience. Though it is impossible to bring back those nostalgic moments, we are making an earnest attempt to re-live the delightful spell in an evening devoted to Kathakali in Bangalore.

The event named ‘Kathakali Sandhya’ will be held at Indiranagar Sangeetha Sabha on 26-02-2012 at 5:00 pm under the auspices of Uthishta. The performance will be blessed by the presence of the renowned Artiste Padmasri Kalamandalam Gopi and his team. Nalacharitham 4th day and Prahladacharitham will be enacted on the occasion.
