Continuing on it's stated mission of empowering the weaker sections of our society, Uthishta is sponsoring 220 educational kits to children living in the slums in Bangalore through another NGO Keshava Seva Samithi. Each kit which contains books, pencils, pens and other stationary costs Rs 250. KSS is an NGO which has been conducting free tuition classes for the kids living in slums. A public function is being organized on 5th July Saturday for the distribution of the kits. Sri Radhakrishna Naick, Senior teacher, Art of Living Foundation has agreed to bless the occasion.
