In collaboration with Karnataka Institute of Endocrinology and Research, we are enhancing infrastructure to improve the accessibility and quality of care provided to children with diabetes. This includes supporting clinics and providing essential equipment for the treatment of young patients.
Safe Stay, Reducing Financial and Emotional Burdens
Free Accommodation for Families
To further assist families, we also provide free accommodation facilities for children and their families who are traveling from outside Bangalore. This ensures that they have a safe and comfortable place to stay while undergoing treatment, reducing both the financial and emotional burdens on families.
In remote tribal settlements in Kodagu, darkness falls early, and without electricity, families face challenges that affect daily life, safety, and educational opportunities. Uthishta, with support from the Schneider Electric India Foundation, has taken a significant step to change this reality.
