The severe flood in kerala was an overwhelming shock to all as it caused devastation of farmlands, destruction of houses and complete damage to all house hold items, clothes and everything. Many people had to re-start their life from ground zero all over again. All the things that they had earned and secured got washed way in a night.

The plight caused by the flood is beyond words. The damages that happened at the remote areas in high range districts like Wayanad was large and horrible. Uthishta decided to provide an immediate help so that people who lost everything would get a bit relief and support in starting their post flood life.

The volunteers from Uthishta visited Wayanad, did a survey of each houses, identified the people who really needed a helping hand and handed over Uthishta's Kitchen Set. Each kitchen set contains all stainless steel utensils, plates, knives etc sufficient for a small family to survive.

Restarting lives requires help in different ways and dimensions. Uthishta is planning next activities as well  to support our society to be able to be up and running. Kindly extend all your support in our service efforts. Together, let us serve better.
